 Rocky Mountain Rural Health is a 501(c) (3) Not-for-Profit organization dedicated to health care in the
 Park County region.

                “The mission of Rocky Mountain Rural Health is to improve the physical and mental health of
                  Park County residents.”

Thanks to many generous donations in the past, we have a beautiful permanent “home for healthcare” in Park County  There is much work still to be done to improve access to care and community health education.  Please consider a tax deductible donation to help more Park County residents receive the health care they need.  Your donation is greatly appreciated and will go to support RMRH programs:

Families in Crisis Fund
       Funds are available to cover emergency expenses for families in the Park County area. Referrals to this fund
       come through Local Providers and may cover medical co-pays, drug assistance, transportation,
       and other expenses related to physical and mental health issues.

Medication Assistance Program
       RMRH staff helps patients who cannot afford their medications, find and register for assistance Programs,
       sponsored by the various pharmaceutical companies which provide free or reduced cost medications.

Mobile Mammography Van
       Once yearly, RMRH works with the Susan G. Komen Colorado to bring the Mobile Mammogram Van to
        Fairplay and Guffey.  All women are welcome.  Mammograms are free for uninsured and underinsured.
        They will also take commercial insurances (those with high deductible plans).  Medicare and Medicaid
        patients need to be at least one year since previous Mammogram.  Call RMRH office (719-836-2169) for next
        date van will be at both locations.

Medical Equipment and Supplies
       RMRH supports Local Providers in their effort to expand services which can be offered locally. 
       This includes laboratory testing (blood work), x-rays, ultrasound, and Colposcopy. These services provide
       same day results and frequently eliminate the need to drive long distances to receive care out of the county.
       RMRH also helps cover the cost of medical supplies (dressings, splints, casts, IV fluids, etc)
       for uninsured patients.

Community Health Education Programs
       RMRH provides free community health education programs at various community locations.
       RMRH Provides free Navigation Services

Sports Physicals
       RMRH believes that every child deserves the opportunity to participate in school athletic
       activities.  All children and teens must have a Sports Physical each year in order to participate. 
       In partnership with Local Providers, RMRH provides low cost
Sports Physicals before the
       start of each school year to all who wish to be in school sports.  A certain number of free Sports Physicals
       are provided so no child is left out because of Iimited financial resources.
